Twitter Scavenger Hunt Helps Students Learn More About Campus

MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho will launch a Twitter scavenger hunt for students on Thursday, Aug. 20. The unique event will run throughout the school year, and is designed to help the campus community learn more about the university.

The identified item for the hunt will be posted on www.twitter.com/uidaho with the hash tag #ispy@ui. Students can submit their discoveries to the Twitter feed labeled with the hash tag. Specific posting instructions will be listed in the tweet.

Winners will be announced via Twitter.

The scavenger hunt is open to anyone who subscribes to the Twitter feed.

In addition to scavenger hunt items related to move-in activities, the university also will post items on Vandal Pride Days, which are each Friday of the academic year beginning Friday, Aug. 28.
